Celebrating great vibes, fierce looks, and plenty of community love - don't miss the return of Parramatta Pride Picnic for 2026. Returning for our 18th year on Saturday 10th October, we will be serving up a day full of fabulous entertainment, food, activities and meaningful connections for the LGBTI+ community, their families, friends and community allies.
Proudly a free event, EVERYONE is welcome! As western Sydney's largest Pride event, Parramatta Pride Picnic is proudly a collaboration between ACON, Inclusiv Events and Parramatta Queer Forum, part of ACON's Inclusive Communities Networks, alongside a dedicated team of volunteer event organisers.
We're excited to be able to welcome you back to Parramatta Park Bowling Green and surrounds. We'll be hosting market stalls featuring a variety of community and corporate partners and a great selection of food all within the lawns and gardens of our licensed bar area, allowing visitors to meander responsibly all afternoon with a curated list of beers, wines and cocktails.
Expect to see on the day many community favourites, stay and enjoy a diverse range of performances and guests, from DJs and Drag Kings and Queens to cultural entertainment and there's always something for the kids and our four-legged friends.
For the first time the feel-good times continue into the evening with a T-dance inspired after party in the park. We will be continuing the party vibe till 7pm with bar service, DJ sets and food available into the evening.

How much does it cost?+
Parramatta Pride Picnic is proudly a free event for all to attend.
Is there parking?+
The Pitt St / Macquarie St gates of Parramatta Park are the main vehicle entrance and exit for Parramatta Pride Picnic. Parking options include the surrounding Parramatta Park sign-posted parking areas, nearby street parking and Justice Precinct Car Park at 13 Hunter St. Please also visit parrapark.com.au for a good summary of public transport options.
Is there accessible access?+
Parramatta Pride Picnic is surrounded by level entrance ways with accessible toilets within our event precinct and multiple other locations throughout Parramatta Park. Contact us at [email protected] if you require an Accessible car space reserved nearby to the event entrance on the day (limited spaces available).
Is this event licensed or BYO?+
Parramatta Pride Picnic is a fully licensed event with a great selection of good value food and drinks for you to enjoy responsibly whilst you meander the stalls and enjoy the entertainment. No BYO alcohol please though do bring along a reusable water bottle to refill as needed.
Is this an all ages event?+
Yes, however, standard RSA rules would still apply at the event.
What can I bring?+
Great vibes, community spirit, your four-legged friends and a picnic rug.
What can't I bring?+
Preferably no plastic bags, no helium balloons and no non-biodegradable glitter.
Is there an After Party?+
Definitely, we're curating a great Sunset Session addition to Parramatta Pride Picnic this year through till 7pm — stay tuned for more!
